Every day, restaurants face the problem of food waste.
Perfectly good products end up being discarded due to lack of consumption, generating financial losses and negative environmental impacts.

Solution
Design Minds developed the entire experience for Um Bom App, an application that connects restaurants to consumers interested in purchasing food that would otherwise be discarded — but is still safe to eat.
With a smart geolocation system, users can find nearby restaurants and access “surprise baskets” with fresh food at cost price. Orders can be placed directly through the app, with pickup or delivery options.
User Experience & Visual Design
We created a clean, elegant, and highly intuitive design focused on mobile usability. Every screen of the app was designed for smooth navigation, with clear icons and well-placed calls to action.
We also developed a responsive landing page aligned with the app’s visual identity, aimed at presenting the project and attracting new partners.
